In the midst of the business of our lives, we recognise the need for women to just have time out together to share the joys and sorrows of life, but also to learn from one another, and find out how to bring God into everything we do so that we might reflect Him to all we meet.  The gatherings we have to encourage women in their walk with God are

'Oasis' - a weekly meeting for our mum's to come and take time out. This includes, Bible Study, Worship, Meditation and Socials

'Integrity' - For young women in their 18's to 30's. Now meeting in smaller groups for Bible teaching, worship and accountability. Our vision is to see young women stepping out and being radical for God!

'Women at the Well' - this is our termly meet for women of all ages to have an evening of enjoyment and food, to interact across the ages and also to have time to hear from God.

Oasis is a growing group of women who meet together weekly during term time to encourage and support one another. This term we are beginning an Alpha course for all women an opportunity to come and explore Christianity in a relaxed environment . We meet at Jubilee Community Centre on a Thursday from 10am -11:30am. This is our termly meeting for all women of the church. We named this initiative, 'Women at the Well' because like the Samaritan woman in John 4 v 5-42, we want to meet with Jesus, be changed as a consequence and impact the lives of those around us. We also realised that many women are so busy that they just don't have time to interact with others in the church, and so this is aimed at all women of all ages mixing together, making new friends and helping and supporting one another.

Over this year we have been doing something different! We hosted a fashion show in the Spring Term to raise over £1,500  for Breast Cancer. Our Summer Term event was hosting a womans conference with over 426 women attending from churches in the Sussex and Kent region and futher afield. This was an excellent event with guest speakers Wendy Virgo, Caz Alliston, Sue Prince & Bev Landreth-Smith, talks available on this site.
