God our Healer!
About ten years ago I was forced to do something that my knees really did not like. I worried at the time it had caused permanent damage. Four years later my left knee was so painful that sometimes it kept me awake at night, the doctor told me it was Degenerative Arthritis. I was not happy to hear this, so I had prayer from time to time, and took Cod Liver Oil and Glucosamine tablets. I managed to get by.
Eighteen months ago someone announced in church that God wanted to heal someone whose ‘knees were shot’. I was serving at the time and unable to respond, but the next week I went to find the lady and asked for prayer. Since then I have had so little trouble from my knees that I have completely forgotten to take my ‘supplements’!
Last January I had asked for prayer for an emotional problem, a wrong belief that I have about myself. While the leader was praying for me he thought God was telling him to also pray for my stomach! Since then I have been able to eat two specific food types that had given me severe stomach pains whenever I ate them before. My ‘ungodly’ belief about myself is decreasing as well..

God provides for all of our needs!
In my 3rd year of university I was considering what to do when I finished. I decided to do 'Impact' - serving the local church for a year. Whilst this seemed like a good idea, financially it was difficult. As a student I had no money and doing Impact wouldn't be viable. I began praying at Christmas for God's provision and in March I received a letter from the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers informing me I had won an award. I hadn't knowingly entered a competition and I didn’t know anything about the award, but I had won enough money to get me through the year. It was a miracle!
God is constantly answering prayers but it's amazing when we see miracles happen before our eyes. Two weeks ago my computer crashed and the diagnosis looked bad. My hard drive was broken and it would cost me about £200 to replace. I didn’t have the money. I spent an extended amount of time praying for it, thinking I was silly because it was only a computer, but none the less I knew God cared.
I then took it to a store to ask some advice and this is what I was told, 'Kat, I’m going to give you some bad news but I promise I’ll give you some good news too. Your hard drive is broken, you've lost all your data, but I can replace it, and re-do the casing which is broken. I can’t seem to alter the receipt where it still says it will cost £216, but I'm having a good day and it will be completely free.' Three hours later, the computer was fixed and I’d hardly lost any data because I had backed it up (praise God!), and it was all FREE! God is good all the time.
